The most noticeable change I made was in this spread's color palette. Originally I was thinking about a pink & orange theme to challenge the stereotypes about the wrestlers, presenting the idea that they can be feminine (pink) and bold (orange). However, I decided this contrast wasn't obvious enough at first glance, so I ditched the 'feminine' colors entirely and made the spread very bold and contrasting to show the dichotomy in a different way. I also made the cutouts duotone to make them stand out more, and further broke up the text with infographic and pull quote placement to draw readers in in the final draft.
